On top of that the pay rate is very low for front line staff who are inhaling second hand smoke constantly in this working environment. It doesn't matter how much education or experience you have so it's basically a dead end job. There is no way to get advancement here unless you are an enrolled tribal member. Overall not too bad a place to work and will allow you to get your foot in the door. There’s not much room and there’s a preference, which is understandable, but makes it hard to advance further. The supervisors all care for you and have your back just bear with them because they have to take the blunt from the directors. Overtime will come around now and again but you can work the events and that is always a good time. Though, there’s a real lack of safety for the officers as they are ill equipped. You’ll get good training and as long as you follow it you should be alright if the time comes you have to use it. The best part is actually getting to do Security work but that will most likely be on the later shifts. Guest interaction is fun and challenging as it can always be something different. Your average day will be standing at post’s and making sure guests have ID.
